So...I FINALLY got out of my jammies today!! How far would you drive in the aftermath of a BLIZZARD for a tent?!! And, MANY thanks to Susan Smith for that coat!!

Today is the first day all week that I actually got dressed...yippee!!  Brother Sacker and I ventured out to Panera Bread on Lewis at 71st Street...I think he got tired of my attempts at cooking!!  I figured that since I wasn't going outside any time soon, that I should just change into clean jammies after my shower...worked for me!!  Brother Sacker has been taking the boys out to potty and play in the snow...many heartfelt thanks to Brother Sacker!!  What a man!  The boys are loving the snow.  Poor Valentino is so low to the ground, though, that Brother Sacker had to clear some ground for him to be able to go!!  Sundance is loving all the snow, of course; what Golden wouldn't love all this snow?!  I've posted a video that Brother Sacker took of me kicking snow at the boys...they love that game!!
I'm also posted some pictures of the snow around our house.  It is amazing how much snow will be in one area and then just a few inches in another area...Oklahoma, where the wind comes whistling down the plains...or the side streets!!  Brother Sacker added some arrows to one picture of our French door out to the side yard...can't even open that door yet due to the high snow...about four feet of it!
OK...the question about the tent?  Brother Jesse Stewart and his darling wife, Billy and their cutie pies Ashlynn and Hayden (who, by the way, is recoving from a weird ear infection thingy!!) are in their SUV as I type on their way from out in the frozen tundra of Sapulpa (and, I'm talking WAY out in the boonies here!!) to go pick up a tent in Catoosa!!  It's a brand new, still in the box tent worth $100 that this man is selling for $50.  Would you do that?!  Kudos to Billy for her patience and pioneering spirit!!  Personally...I wouldn't do it even if it was a freebie!!  So, it's official...Brother Stewart...you are crazy!!  But, we still love you!!
Susan Smith and I co-hosted a Thirty One party a few weeks ago and she brought over a black down jacket for Vicki Jones (our friend and Thirty One consultant extraordinaire) because Vicki complained about needing a warm jacket that fits!  She tried on the jacket and it didn't fit...so, I hung it up in our hall coat closet, to give back to Susan before she went home.  Well, of course, we forgot about the jacket!  I mean, come on, we were looking at purses and bags!  So, I told Vicki that I would take the jacket to Susan at church the next night.  In the meantime...I thought...cute jacket, I think I'll try it on!!  So, I tired it on and it fits perfectly!!  And, it is SO warm...down filled, so yeah...it's warm!  So, the next night at church, I told Susan that the coat fit me and I'd like to buy it from her.  She said no...you can have it...I bought it on clearance.  I gotta tell ya'...I love this jacket!  I have worn it every time I go out, except to church on Sunday!  So...Susan...thank you from the bottom of my nice warm heart...I love this jacket!  I'm wearing it in that video down there!  I forgot to add that the little pink shoe is a tape dispenser from Susan, also.  Every single woman who has seen that pink shoe in the picture has commented that the shoe is WAY cute...and I agree...I love pink and I love shoes...Another thank you to my friend Susan Smith who knows me well!!
OK...I'm going to get into another pair of jammies!!  'Night, y'all!!
This is from our office window (before we re-arranged the office on Weds. morning)
