I Am Humbled...

I had a dream last night.  I dreamt that the nurse at the Breast Center came in and told me that my mammogram was perfect.  Ah...wishful thinking/dreaming on my part?!  So, Brother Sacker and I go to the St. Francis Breast Center this morning, right on time, I might add!!  I was nervous...I'll admit that now.  From what my doctor and I had both felt and what was going on with the surrounding skin (that is as detailed as I will get!!), I just had a real bad feeling that it was going to be cancer.  So, after taking enough pictures of my breast to actually wallpaper a small room...they took me to another room and told me to wait there.  So...I waited.  And, waited.  And, waited.  Usually, all that waiting means something bad, right?  Then, the nurse came to the door and said, "Mrs. Sacker?"  I go into the hallway with her, expecting bad news.  She said, "The doctor said your mammogram was awesome.  It is perfect."  Her exact words!  I just said thank you and went to get dressed.  I thought I would be jumping up and down with excitement!!  I'm not.  I'm humbled.  Who am I that God...yeah, that God who actually created me, would heal me 100%?  I'm still in shock...I was healed.  By God.  I'm humbled.  I'm amazed.  I'm so in awe that God loves me and cares about me so much that HE healed me.  So...I left there praising God.  Thank you to each and every one of you that sent prayers up to God for me.  I am so loved.  I am so blessed.  Now, I think I'll go have a good cry and praise Him and thank Him!!  To God be the glory.

Praise Him Always!!

Tomorrow is the day for my diagnostic tests at the Breast Center at St. Francis.  I would be lying if I said I wasn't just a tiny bit apprehensive...because I am!!  I know that there are a lot of people praying for me.  And, I can't tell you how much those prayers mean to me.  Several of my friends have called/texted me today to let me know that they love me and are praying for me...thanks, guys!!  At dinner on Sunday night, I told Brother Sacker that I would be leaving the building doing one of two things:  I would either be praising God for a good report or I would be praising God for a not so good report.  Whatever happens tomorrow...I will still be praising God...always!!  I know it is because of Him and all the prayers going up for me that I have a relatively peaceful feeling today.  Whenever I start feeling nervous or scared...I just pray and praise God!!  I will, of course, post my test results tomorrow.

A Lump and a Prayer

Last Friday I went to the doctor who discovered a lump in my left breast.  She has since scheduled me for a diagnostic mammogram, an ultrasound and some other tests.  I was really freaked out about this.  However, I have found a real peace about this.  I am praying.  Brother Sacker is praying.  My church family and friends are all praying.  So, when I go to St. Francis next week for the above mentioned tests...I fully expect that they will either find nothing at all or just a blockage. the song says...Say a Little Prayer for Me!!  And, to those of you already praying for me...heartfelt thanks...I woke up this morning with such a peace just overwhelming me.  And, that can only be God.  And, your prayers for me.

My Valentine

Brother Sacker is my Valentine.  He loves me just as I am.  He encourages me.  He sticks by me always.  He prays for me.  He supports me in great times and not so great times.  But, better than all those husband loves God.

So...I FINALLY got out of my jammies today!! How far would you drive in the aftermath of a BLIZZARD for a tent?!! And, MANY thanks to Susan Smith for that coat!!

Today is the first day all week that I actually got dressed...yippee!!  Brother Sacker and I ventured out to Panera Bread on Lewis at 71st Street...I think he got tired of my attempts at cooking!!  I figured that since I wasn't going outside any time soon, that I should just change into clean jammies after my shower...worked for me!!  Brother Sacker has been taking the boys out to potty and play in the snow...many heartfelt thanks to Brother Sacker!!  What a man!  The boys are loving the snow.  Poor Valentino is so low to the ground, though, that Brother Sacker had to clear some ground for him to be able to go!!  Sundance is loving all the snow, of course; what Golden wouldn't love all this snow?!  I've posted a video that Brother Sacker took of me kicking snow at the boys...they love that game!!
I'm also posted some pictures of the snow around our house.  It is amazing how much snow will be in one area and then just a few inches in another area...Oklahoma, where the wind comes whistling down the plains...or the side streets!!  Brother Sacker added some arrows to one picture of our French door out to the side yard...can't even open that door yet due to the high snow...about four feet of it!
OK...the question about the tent?  Brother Jesse Stewart and his darling wife, Billy and their cutie pies Ashlynn and Hayden (who, by the way, is recoving from a weird ear infection thingy!!) are in their SUV as I type on their way from out in the frozen tundra of Sapulpa (and, I'm talking WAY out in the boonies here!!) to go pick up a tent in Catoosa!!  It's a brand new, still in the box tent worth $100 that this man is selling for $50.  Would you do that?!  Kudos to Billy for her patience and pioneering spirit!!  Personally...I wouldn't do it even if it was a freebie!!  So, it's official...Brother are crazy!!  But, we still love you!!
Susan Smith and I co-hosted a Thirty One party a few weeks ago and she brought over a black down jacket for Vicki Jones (our friend and Thirty One consultant extraordinaire) because Vicki complained about needing a warm jacket that fits!  She tried on the jacket and it didn't, I hung it up in our hall coat closet, to give back to Susan before she went home.  Well, of course, we forgot about the jacket!  I mean, come on, we were looking at purses and bags!  So, I told Vicki that I would take the jacket to Susan at church the next night.  In the meantime...I thought...cute jacket, I think I'll try it on!!  So, I tired it on and it fits perfectly!!  And, it is SO warm...down filled, so's warm!  So, the next night at church, I told Susan that the coat fit me and I'd like to buy it from her.  She said can have it...I bought it on clearance.  I gotta tell ya'...I love this jacket!  I have worn it every time I go out, except to church on Sunday!  So...Susan...thank you from the bottom of my nice warm heart...I love this jacket!  I'm wearing it in that video down there!  I forgot to add that the little pink shoe is a tape dispenser from Susan, also.  Every single woman who has seen that pink shoe in the picture has commented that the shoe is WAY cute...and I agree...I love pink and I love shoes...Another thank you to my friend Susan Smith who knows me well!!
OK...I'm going to get into another pair of jammies!!  'Night, y'all!!
This is from our office window (before we re-arranged the office on Weds. morning)
